A great international car racing event on Rogla from June 22nd to 24th

6 Jul, 2007

This year for the fifth time a major international Hill Climb took place on (Mt.?) Rogla, From Friday, the 22nd of June to Sunday the 24th, a hundred and two cars with drivers from seven countries and six lead cars took part in the event. In addition to the Slovene and Austrian Championship Hill Climb, the race also counted as points toward two international races; i.e., the FIA Hill Climb Challenge and, for the first time, the FIA Hill Climb Cup. Almost without exception, the best Slovene and Austrian drivers in all categories were on the course, as well as a few drivers from other European countries. Among them were some of the leading European Hill Climb aces, who haven’t appeared on Rogla before this year. For the first time, more than half of the competitors came from abroad.
